The latest book of myths and legends in the 1,000 story quest I’ve embarked upon. These are re-tellings of Norse myths and rather modified my views of their gods whom in my boundless ignorance I had assumed resembled the marauding hordes of Vikings who invaded England’s innocent shores.Â
In the coming months I’ll be sharing some quotes gleaned from this book, but for now wanted to share that beckoning cover illustration. It speaks of quiet hours of childhood lost in a book in a hidden corner of the house, oblivious to others.
