I liked this comment by a senior US army officer at an early Covid-19 briefing, though not sure how easy it is to deliver. 

This is an unbelievably complicated problem, and there is no way we are going to be able to do this with a complicated solution. We need something super simple.

Whether it panned out as planned is still unclear, though the nearest thing I can think of as a super simple solution to a horribly complex problem is Distance + Mask + Soap = Risk Reduction Pending Vaccine.
