Easy-limbed stirring

I liked this description of a boat responding like a limber-limbed youth to the movement of the sea. ‘Easy-limbed stirring’ also makes me think of those first moments of stretching on a bright morning when you have slept well and a lovely day awaits you.

‘The Minch is laced with the wakes of the ancestors and this wonderful, easy-limbed stirring of Freyja on the long Atlantic swell is a stirring of the past.’
