I write this looking out onto the rain-soaked air of today’s wet weather, set to continue through the weekend so it will be Monday before Dante’s sunbeam can course through it.

Taking the same course

That sunbeams take in rain-soaked air.

The garden loves it and we’ll be thankful when the heat of summer returns and the water cisterns are full to bursting.

See too our love letter to Dante, one of our bestellar reviews, studded with illustrated quotes.
