A wonderful word for a hard sweet or candy. Put one in your mouth and then try saying ‘roudoudou’ five times. Second thoughts, better not, we mustn’t be choking on our words.
The dictionary doesn’t give the plural, so may I ask French friends to confirm if it’s ‘roudoudoux’ … which would have the advantage of the last syllable also meaning ‘sweet’.
And a bag of roudoudoux to whoever first sends me a fine sentence coherently using all six in this batch of ou-ou French words.
